Farhad Koloushani "Enjoy the Dive" Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Farhad Koloushani was born in Iran to Maries and Morteza Koloushani but grew up in Chehalis and attended Centralia College. He attained a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and his passion was scuba diving. He began diving at 12 and, after moving to San Diego, California, he built a business and strong reputation for emphasizing student safety and comfort. Farhad was always teaching and searching for new information on diving so he could share it with others. Farhad passed away in Florida at age 26 while breath-hold diving – doing what he Loved most. His infectious smile, quick wit, and enjoyment of Life-will be remembered by his students and all who knew him.
