Donna M. Karvia Memorial Soroptomist Scholarship

The Donna M. Karvia Memorial Soroptomist Scholarship was created by the Centralia-Chehalis Soroptimist Club in memory of long time club member, Donna Karvia. The first Soroptimist Club was founded in Oakland, California, in 1931. Their mission statement embodies a contemporary focus: encouraging the best in and for women through education and professional development. The Centralia-Chehalis club was formed in 1937.
